Walkabout in Wolfville

Well, after 4 visits to Wolfville, we finally saw water in the Minas Basin.  Steven was right water does come in here :P

There's Something in My Beer

Had lunch at Paddy's in Wolfville.  Joe was very exited to try the Blueberry Ale and even more exited to eat the beer-soaked blueberries at the end.  20 ounces of happiness!

New Mature Students

Beautiful ride through the Annapolis Valley.  Since we were in Wolfville, we had to stop by the University.

And... guess what, they let us register as mature students!! (well Joe and Marc are actually registered as Im-Mature students)  We're all going to be roommates with Steven in Chase.

Joe and Marc were already trying to rally support for their first party, they were heard chanting "TOGA - TOGA" as they marched around the campus.  Last seen, they were running from security...

The Quest for New Brunswick's Roadside Attractions

As we drove through New Brunswick today we passed through:

Grand Falls and Gorge ... The Place where People and Trails Meet ... The French Fry Capital of the World ... Potato World ... Home of the World's Longest Covered Bridge ... New Brunswick's First Town ... Home of the World's Largest Axe ... The site of the last duel in New Brunswick... King's Crossing ... Home of the Silver Fox ... and the Cultural Crossroads of the Maritimes.

You may know some of these towns :)

But we couldn't see it all, we had a lot of miles to cover today.

We decided that we would stop only for the biggest or largest sites.

It actually wasn't so big when you got up close...

The other chosen detour was a drive through of the World's Longest's Covered Bridge.

At first, we weren't sure if we were allowed to pull a trailer through the bridge or if it was two-way or one-way traffic.

In the end Joe simply made the call - he went for it.

There was a little bit of a line at the other side 30-40 cars.  Ooops... maybe we did something wrong :(

All bolts and tie-downs still in place.

Halfway stop at Gaz-O-Bar for ... gas and some beef jerky

Breakfast at 5:30am, the most important meal of the day.

Job Done! Ready to Roll.

Marc smoothes out the mortise and installs the last tie down.

Ready to Lock-N-Load!

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure....

LOCK-N-LOAD

Mary and Marc work hard to install the Lock-N-Load Transport system. Meanwhile Jan carefully documents the procedure for quality control purposes.

The Lock-N-Load is a Wheel Chock Transport System that provides fully adjustable wheel locking capability. There is no need for multiple tie downs and it takes an enormous amount of pressure off of the fork seals during transit.
