The Quest for New Brunswick's Roadside Attractions

As we drove through New Brunswick today we passed through:

Grand Falls and Gorge ... The Place where People and Trails Meet ... The French Fry Capital of the World ... Potato World ... Home of the World's Longest Covered Bridge ... New Brunswick's First Town ... Home of the World's Largest Axe ... The site of the last duel in New Brunswick... King's Crossing ... Home of the Silver Fox ... and the Cultural Crossroads of the Maritimes.

You may know some of these towns :)

But we couldn't see it all, we had a lot of miles to cover today.

We decided that we would stop only for the biggest or largest sites.

It actually wasn't so big when you got up close...

The other chosen detour was a drive through of the World's Longest's Covered Bridge.

At first, we weren't sure if we were allowed to pull a trailer through the bridge or if it was two-way or one-way traffic.

In the end Joe simply made the call - he went for it.

There was a little bit of a line at the other side 30-40 cars.  Ooops... maybe we did something wrong :(

  1. And of course, you guys stop at every place to take a picture, Mom and Joe did the exact same thing in Truro!

  2. We could only stop when Joe was driving, so that was 2 times. Once again we have missed Potato World Museum :(
